On 21 October 2025, Ryanair announced a major expansion of its operations at Katowice Airport for the Winter 2025/2026 season. During a press conference held at the airport, the airline confirmed that three Boeing 737-800NG aircraft will be based at KTW to serve 15 routes, including three new destinations available for the first time in winter: Budapest, Brussels-Charleroi and Trapani.
This expansion underscores Ryanair’s growing commitment to the Silesian region and reflects the increasing demand for both leisure and business travel from southern Poland during the winter season.
From Katowice Airport, Ryanair will operate flights this winter to:
Belgium: Brussels-Charleroi
Cyprus: Paphos
Greece: Athens
Hungary: Budapest
Italy: Catania, Milan-Bergamo, Reggio Calabria, Rome-Fiumicino, Trapani
Ireland: Dublin
Malta
Norway: Oslo-Gardermoen
Spain: Alicante
United Kingdom: London-Stansted, Manchester
The addition of new winter routes to Budapest, Brussels, and Trapani highlights Ryanair’s strategy to diversify its network from Poland and strengthen its presence in Central and Southern Europe.
