Lufthansa Expands Allegris Cabin Experience to Frankfurt Long-Haul Flights

Starting today, travelers departing from Frankfurt can experience Lufthansa’s new Allegris cabin, as the airline introduces its latest-generation “Dreamliners” on long-haul routes. The inaugural Allegris flight from Frankfurt to Toronto takes off today, marking a major milestone in the rollout of Lufthansa’s most ambitious cabin redesign to date.

Beginning with the winter 2025 schedule, Allegris-equipped aircraft will also serve Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Hyderabad, and — from December 2025 — Austin, Texas.

The new Allegris concept has already been flying on Airbus A350-900 aircraft from Munich since May 2024, where it has received overwhelmingly positive feedback. More than 500,000 passengers have flown in the new cabin across all travel classes, with over 90% rating their experience highly.

Designed to redefine comfort and personalization in the skies, Allegris introduces innovative seating concepts, premium materials, and state-of-the-art technology across First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.

“We are delighted to now offer our passengers from Frankfurt our latest and significantly upgraded travel experience on long-haul flights with Allegris,” said Francesco Sciortino, Hub Manager Frankfurt at Lufthansa Airlines. “Guests have responded enthusiastically, and we are proud to bring this new premium experience to our largest hub.”

With additional Boeing 787 Dreamliners scheduled for delivery in the coming weeks, Lufthansa plans to announce further long-haul destinations featuring the Allegris cabin later this year.
