Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is rolling out a significant upgrade to its Business Class product, giving premium travelers access to a much broader network of lounges across Europe. The move, which takes effect October 1, 2025, strengthens SAS’ premium offering and reinforces its integration within the SkyTeam alliance.
By partnering with established lounge operators, SAS is adding around 35 new lounges at key destinations. This expansion ensures business travelers and premium customers can expect consistent comfort, service, and seamless travel experiences on par with global standards.
“This is a comprehensive upgrade of our Business Class offer, with lounge access as a key part of the experience,” said Theres Briger, Head of Onground Product at SAS. “By partnering with established lounge operators, we can quickly give our customers access to a much broader network at important destinations across Europe and Scandinavia.”
The first lounges will open on October 1, with additional locations added progressively throughout the autumn. SAS is targeting popular destinations such as Nice, Malaga, Palma, Lisbon, Venice, Florence, Naples, Malta, Madrid, Milan Linate, Manchester, Edinburgh, Prague, Krakow and Keflavik.
Among the confirmed airports where SAS Business Class travelers will now enjoy lounge access are:
Scandinavia & Nordics: Bergen, Stavanger, Aalborg, Helsinki, Billund
Southern Europe: Malaga, Nice, Alicante, Palma, Gran Canaria, Barcelona, Faro, Madrid, Milan (Linate), Bologna
UK & Ireland: Manchester, Aberdeen, Edinburgh
Central & Eastern Europe: Tallinn, Gdansk, Vilnius, Prague, Wroclaw, Keflavik
SAS emphasized that the rollout will be dynamic, with agreements finalized step by step, and customers continuously updated about available lounges.
