Turkish Airlines has announced the launch of its new route from Istanbul to Phnom Penh, set to begin on December 10, 2025. This milestone marks the first regular service between Europe and Cambodia’s capital, enhancing connectivity between the two regions and strengthening economic ties.
Strengthening Trade and Tourism Links
Phnom Penh will become the seventh destination served by a flag carrier in Cambodia, and Turkish Airlines’ expansion is expected to boost trade relations between Türkiye and Cambodia, contributing to the country’s growing economy.
Prof. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee at Turkish Airlines, stated:

The launch of Phnom Penh flights marks a significant step forward in this goal. Our flights to Cambodia will create new opportunities for both tourism and business. Flight Schedule and Route Details
The new service will operate three times per week via Bangkok, offering convenient travel options for passengers.
- Istanbul to Phnom Penh: Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays
- Phnom Penh to Istanbul: Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
With the addition of Phnom Penh, Turkish Airlines expands its Far East network to 20 cities and 21 airports, reinforcing its position as a global aviation leader.
