Italian leisure airline Neos Air has announced the launch of a new nonstop route connecting New York’s JFK Airport to the southeastern Italian city of Bari. This new weekly summer seasonal service will operate from June 3 to October 15, marking a historic milestone as the first-ever transatlantic flight from Bari.
The flight will be Neos’ third route to the United States, joining its existing services from Milan and Palermo to JFK. The airline will operate the route using its state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering both premium economy and economy seating options for travelers.
Founded in 2002, Neos Air is a subsidiary of the Italian tour operator Alpitour and currently operates a fleet of 16 Boeing aircraft, including six Dreamliners. The airline made its U.S. debut in 2021 and continues to expand its network to cater to the growing demand for leisure travel between Italy and the U.S.
