LOT Polish Airlines Restores Warsaw-Larnaca Route

LOT Polish Airlines has resumed its regular flights from Warsaw to Larnaca, a major tourist hub in Cyprus. A formal ceremony marked the occasion at Chopin Airport, after which the inaugural passengers took off toward the sunlit Cypriot city. The 3.5-hour journey now connects Polish travelers with the island’s rich cultural and natural offerings, right in the heart of the eastern Mediterranean.

This winter, flights on the Warsaw-Larnaca (WAW-LCA) route are scheduled four times weekly—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. However, as summer arrives, LOT plans to increase the frequency to six times per week, with departures every day except Tuesdays. With each flight departing at 10:40 a.m., passengers can begin exploring Larnaca and its attractions on the same day they arrive.

Robert Ludera, Director of the Connective Grid Office at LOT, expressed optimism about the route, stating, “Larnaca is an ideal year-round destination, offering a wealth of attractions thanks to its strategic location. In 2023, Poland ranked as the third-largest market for Cyprus tourism, making this connection a natural addition to our network to meet the travel preferences of Polish tourists.”

With this new route, LOT Polish Airlines hopes to provide greater accessibility and convenience for Polish travelers looking to experience the Mediterranean beauty and vibrant culture of Cyprus.
