Finnair has announced expanding its codeshare partnership with Jetstar Airways for the northern winter 2024/25 season. This enhanced cooperation will offer new travel options between Europe and Australia, allowing passengers to connect seamlessly via Bangkok to key Australian cities.
Starting from October 27, 2024, and December 14, 2024, Finnair passengers will be able to book codeshare flights operated by Jetstar Airways between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and two major Australian destinations: Perth and Brisbane. This development strengthens Finnair’s long-haul network, providing additional options for travelers from Europe to reach Australia through one of Asia’s busiest hubs, further cementing Finnair’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
New Codeshare Routes
The new codeshare routes, which will bear both Finnair and Jetstar flight codes, are:
- Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) – Brisbane (BNE): Effective from December 14, 2024
- Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) – Perth (PER): Effective from October 27, 2024
These flights will be operated by Jetstar Airways, Australia’s low-cost carrier, and will allow Finnair passengers to enjoy the convenience of booking through Finnair’s network. In addition to seamless travel, passengers will benefit from earning Finnair Plus loyalty points and receiving consistent customer service throughout their journey.
