This summer, Poland will welcome Europe’s longest hotel, the Mercure Szczyrk, located in the popular ski resort town of Szczyrk. The journey from the airport to the hotel will take approximately an hour and a half.
The unique curved building spans 330 meters in length and stands nine stories high, housing 446 rooms. Each room offers panoramic views of the Silesian Beskids mountain range. Remarkably, it will be the only hotel in the country situated at an altitude of 660 meters above sea level.
Guests will have access to a range of amenities, including two restaurants, three bars, a gym, a spa, and even a private helipad. The hotel also boasts a water complex featuring saunas, a large swimming pool, and relaxation areas. For business travelers, there are conference rooms covering 2,500 square meters. Future plans for the area include the construction of a mini-slope with an obstacle course and a magic carpet lift.
For context, the largest hotel in the world is located in Malaysia, offering 7,351 rooms and an indoor theme park.
