Belarus Introduces Visa-Free Regime for Citizens of 35 European Countries

Belarus has announced the introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of 35 European countries, effective from July 19, 2024. This decision aims to promote openness, good neighborliness, and people-to-people contacts, as well as enhance freedom of movement.

According to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, citizens of these 35 European countries will be able to enter and exit Belarus through all land and air border checkpoints without a visa. They can stay in the country for up to 30 days from the date of entry. The visa-free regime will be in effect until December 31, 2024.

It is important to note that the existing visa-free regime for citizens of Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland through land border checkpoints remains in effect.
