In collaboration with Interlink and Vivo Beach Club, Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans for the first Hyatt Centric branded hotel in Puerto Rico. The Hyatt Centric San Juan Isla Verde will be situated in the vibrant Isla Verde neighborhood, just one block from Isla Verde Beach and within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, historical landmarks, and nightlife.
The hotel is currently undergoing a $25 million renovation project to enhance all guestrooms, suites, and public spaces. The design will be inspired by Puerto Rico’s enchanting landscape, blending elements of the island’s captivating land and sea. Upon completion, Hyatt Centric San Juan Isla Verde will offer 223 guestrooms in a prime location, just a block away from the award-winning Isla Verde Beach.
The hotel will feature a communal space that will serve as the social center of the hotel, including a signature restaurant and bar, an open-air beer garden, and a coffee shop with local flair. Additional amenities will include a modern fitness center, over 16,000 square feet of meeting space, a resort-style pool deck surrounded by tropical landscaping, and a locally inspired restaurant and pool bar.
Guests will also enjoy complimentary access to Vivo Beach Club, an oceanfront private beach club featuring a freeform pool, three restaurants, four bars, an outdoor concert stage with a seating capacity for 3,500 people, 12,000 square feet of meeting facilities, and the award-winning Ocean Lab Brewing Co. microbrewery.
Hyatt Centric San Juan Isla Verde will be managed by Highgate Hotels, a leading hotel management firm with a diverse portfolio across North America, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe, including three other hotels in Puerto Rico.
This new addition will mark the sixth Hyatt hotel in Puerto Rico, joining Hyatt Place & Hyatt House San Juan, Hyatt Place Bayamon, Hyatt Place Manati, and Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico.
