In a landmark collaboration, the iconic rooftop bar AER at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai joins forces with the pioneering Third Eye Distillery, makers of Stranger & Sons gin, to unveil AER Gin, a spirit that embodies Mumbai’s coastal charm. This marks the first-ever partnership between a major Indian hotel and a local distillery to create a bespoke alcoholic beverage.
AER Gin, dubbed the “Spirit of the City by the Sea,” features a unique blend of local coastal botanicals, including Indian tamarind, kokum, and mangosteen, distilled to capture the essence of Mumbai’s maritime allure. Crafted exclusively for AER, this gin offers a fresh and saline flavour profile that is distinctively Mumbai.
Renowned for its chic nautical décor and breathtaking views, AER has recently been recognized by the Times Food & Nightlife Awards 2024 for Best Ambience in a Bar, and by 2024 Icons of Drinks among “Great Bars of the World.” The venue’s design, inspired by luxury yachts, sets the perfect stage for AER Gin’s maritime-inspired flavours.
Alexandre Renoue, Beverage Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, has curated a series of “Perfect Serves” to showcase AER Gin’s versatility to enhance the guest experience from dusk till dawn. These range from a delightful AER Gin Gimlet with a kokam cordial and a spirit-forward Martini using an Indian wine along with vermouth, to a refreshing Gimlet Spritz, among others.
