In Irkutsk, a floating 4-star hotel will be built for cruises on Lake Baikal. The project’s cost is estimated at 1.5 billion rubles and will be implemented by the Eastern Siberian River Shipping Company. It is expected that the vessel will be launched in September 2026.
The four-deck liner will be 87 meters long and 14.5 meters wide. It will accommodate up to 200 people, with 144 passengers in cabin format, excluding the crew of 42 people. Without additional refueling, the vessel can cover up to one and a half thousand kilometers.
The ship will feature a restaurant, a conference room for 100 people, a gym, a children’s playroom, relaxation areas, a spa center, and a medical center. Cabins with balconies and without, suites, and two-room suites will be equipped on four decks. The project also includes accommodation for people with disabilities: several cabins will be specially designed for wheelchair users. In these rooms, there will be a call button near the beds to summon staff.
It is specified that travelers will be offered seven-day cruises on Lake Baikal passing through Listvyanka, Tankhoy, Ogoy, Olkhon, Chivyrkuisky Bay, and Peschanaya Bay.
