Accor has announced the enhancement of its ongoing collaboration with renowned local company Construcții Erbașu. This strategic move involves the signing of hotel management agreements for two upcoming establishments in Bucharest and Oradea, as well as the extension of the existing management agreement for ibis Styles Bucharest Erbas.
The first project under this expanded partnership is the Novotel Living Bucharest Baneasa, scheduled to open its doors in June 2025. Situated in Bucharest’s vibrant Baneasa area, the hotel will feature 150 rooms designed for extended stays, offering various room types equipped with kitchenettes and flexible workspaces. The ground floor is envisioned as a dynamic living social hub, providing spaces for dining, socializing, and meetings. Additional amenities include an all-day dining area, a “cinema” room, modular meeting spaces, a fitness room, ample parking, and a spacious external green area. Novotel Living Bucharest Baneasa’s strategic location, just across from Baneasa Shopping City, positions it conveniently within Bucharest’s largest retail district.
The second venture in this collaboration involves the construction and operation of a 120-room ibis Styles in Oradea. Construction for the new ibis Styles Oradea Erbas is set to commence in Q1 2024, with the hotel slated to welcome its first guests in 2026.
Furthermore, Accor and Construcții Erbasu have mutually agreed to extend the existing management contract for ibis Styles Bucharest Erbas, which originally opened its doors in the Aviației area in 2018. This extension solidifies their commitment to the successful operation of the property and is valid until 2033.
These strategic endeavors underscore Accor’s dedication to expanding its footprint in Romania and providing diverse hospitality offerings, ranging from extended-stay options to stylish and comfortable accommodations. The strengthened partnership with Construcții Erbașu reflects a shared vision for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in key Romanian cities.
