A Number of Airlines Cancel Flights to Tel Aviv

Lufthansa is cutting flights to Tel Aviv on Saturday following Palestinian attacks, a spokesman told AFP.

“Given the current security situation in Tel Aviv,” Lufthansa will maintain a single flight to Frankfurt but “all other Lufthansa flights to and from Tel Aviv have been canceled for this Saturday”.

Swiss Air, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Ryanair, Wizz Air, Vueling, Easy Jet, Iberia, LOT, EL AL, Aegean, Air India, Air Canda, Transavia, Bulgaria Air, Air Serbia, American Airlines, All Nippon, KLM, Emirates and Turkish Airlines are among the companies to cancel flights to Israel.

United Airlines San Francisco – Tel Aviv flight is diverting back to San Francisco after Hamas attack on Saturday morning, but the airline’s other Tel Aviv-bound flight from Newark is scheduled for departure. United’s flights from Germany are canceled too.
