Bahrain and Kuwait are currently exploring the potential for implementing a visa-free regime with the Russian Federation, as reported by “Izvestia,” citing the press services of the Russian embassies in these countries.
The Russian Embassy in Kuwait stated, “We continue systematic efforts aimed at establishing a visa-free regime between our countries. This proposal is being studied by the Kuwaiti authorities.”
Meanwhile, the Russian diplomatic representation in Bahrain highlighted that the issue of mutual visa exemptions for ordinary passport holders is currently being worked on by relevant agencies in both countries. Such an arrangement had already been agreed upon for diplomatic, official, and special passport holders back in 2015.
“The Kingdom of Bahrain is currently reviewing the Russian proposal for the corresponding intergovernmental agreement,” emphasized the embassy.
