Starting on March 31st, Aegean Airlines launched its first flight between Bristol and Athens, providing customers with more options to fly directly to one of the world’s historical cities and access multiple onward connections. With a vast global connectivity to multiple hubs, travelers from the South West and Wales will now have access to more destinations and convenient connections, including Cairo, Tel Aviv, and Beirut, from their local airport.
Athens, the historical capital of Europe, boasts a recorded history spanning over 3,400 years, making it one of the world’s oldest cities. Visitors can enjoy the Mediterranean climate, a mix of historical and modern urban scenery, rich culture, natural beauty, and a wide range of shopping, dining, and nightlife options.
“This is an incredibly exciting milestone for Bristol Airport adding Aegean Airlines to the Bristol Airport airline family.
