Nigeria Abolishes Covid Restrictions

Nigerian authorities have lifted most of the coronavirus restrictions for both domestic and foreign travelers since December 12. As reported by Nigeria ‘s government, unvaccinated tourists no longer need to be tested before departure and upon arrival. Vaccinated travelers are no longer required to present vaccination certificates and upload them to the Nigerian International Travel Portal.

At the same time, passengers will have to register online and fill out a health declaration form. If it is not possible to fill out the form before departure, it can be done after arrival in the country.

In addition, all restrictions on visiting public places and mass gatherings of people have been lifted. You can also use protective masks at your own discretion.

In recent months, virtually no new cases of infection with Covid-19 have been recorded in Nigeria. 23% of the local population was fully vaccinated.
