IHG Hotels & Resorts has today announced its Holiday Inn brand’s first urban beachfront resort in Jakarta, Indonesia. This exclusive partnership sees a collaboration with the holding entity Agung Sedayu Group, one of Indonesia’s largest real estate developers.
Opening in 2024, the new-build Holiday Inn Resort PIK2 White Sand Beach will be the first white sand beach resort in Greater Jakarta. Offering 180 rooms, suites, and lofts, the resort will showcase Holiday Inn’s new generation of flexible spaces with contemporary design. Guests will experience the brand’s much-loved features, including its signature KidSuites and Kids Stay & Eat Free programme.
A list of world-class facilities and destinations on the four-kilometre beach include Land’s End, Holiday Inn Resorts, fine dining restaurants, Dreamville Beach Club, Cork&Screw Beach Club, Aloha Pasir Putih, Ginza Beach Walk, and the Community Park event space. These developments are part of Phase One of PIK2, a 1,000ha sustainably led development featuring commercial, residential and lifestyle concepts, with destinations such as a 60ha greenbelt and a mangrove conservatory.
Holiday Inn Resort PIK2 White Sand Beach’s facilities will include a restaurant, two bars, more than 2,600 square metres of meeting space, a gym and resort centre, indoor and outdoor recreation areas and an outdoor pool. Just a seven-minute drive to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the hotel will offer direct access to the beach and many exciting outdoor lifestyle experiences by the beach.
Holiday Inn Resort PIK2 White Sand Beach will be the anchor hotel at PIK2 North Jakarta, a highly anticipated 2,350ha world-class waterfront satellite city in Tangerang district. Billed as the “New Jakarta City”, it has many substantial projects in development, including the largest mall in Indonesia, a range of F&B establishments, a sports centre and an Islamic financial district.
