On May 5, Belavia received a notification of the Main Air Traffic Planning Center of Kazakhstan about the impossibility to operate flights by Belavia on the Minsk-Almaty-Minsk route until special notice.
Under the circumstances, the airline is forced to cancel flights to Almaty from May 5, 2022.
Belavia continues operating regular flights from Minsk to Nur-Sultan according to the schedule 4 times a week.
The airline makes an apology to passengers for the inconveniences, caused due to reasons, beyond its control, and makes every effort to reduce the degree of discomfort for passengers of cancelled Minsk-Almaty-Minsk flights.
The passengers have the following opportunities:
- return the air ticket within the validity period of the ticket* and return the whole amount without deductions;
- in case of flight resuming, it is possible to exchange the air ticket once within the validity period of the ticket* without changing the route and without applying additional fees;
- exchange the ticket once within the validity period of the ticket* with a change of the route for any regular flights of the airline with additional payment of the difference in taxes and fees without paying for ticket reissuance;
- exchange the ticket once within the validity period of the ticket* for routes with the participation of Belavia Airlines and airlines-partners via transfer points during the validity period of the ticket* with additional payment of the difference of tariffs, taxes and fees without paying for ticket reissuance;
Aeroflot has launched a programme of regular flights to Kazakhstan from Moscow on domestically produced Superjet 100 aircraft.
