British Airways has today announced a new route to Belfast this summer, supporting important business and tourism links between Northern Ireland and South West UK.
Customers can book via ba.com from today, with return fares starting from £48 each way.
Pete Downes, Managing Director at Cornwall Airport Newquay commented: “We are grateful to British Airways for stepping in to provide vital connectivity between Cornwall and Northern Ireland for this coming summer, following the sad news over the weekend of the collapse of Stobart Air which had been shortly due to commence flights from Cornwall Airport Newquay to George Best Belfast City Airport.
I am sure the commencement of this twice-weekly seasonal service in early July will come as a relief to those at both ends of the route who depend on this link for business, leisure, or staying connected with friends and family, and I am confident it will once again prove extremely popular”
Customers booking with British Airways can do so with absolute confidence, thanks to the airline’s flexible booking policy. Customers are able to exchange their booking for a voucher or move their dates without incurring a change fee if their plans change. British Airways Holidays’ customers also have access to a range of additional flexible booking options, as part of the company’s Customer Promise.
The new route will commence on 3 July 2021 and operate 2 x weekly, on Wednesday and Saturday.
