According to Tophotel findings, 63 new hotels with 12,990 rooms will open in Russia in the coming years. 13 properties will open their doors in Russia by the end of this year, nine of these hotels are currently in the pre-opening phase.
40 of Russia’s 63 new hotels will be in the four-star segment, while the other 23 will be in the five-star luxury category.
The country’s capital, Moscow, heads up the list of Russia’s hotel markets with 15 projects. The popular tourist destination of St Petersburg will get seven new hotels.

Mandarin Oriental, Moscow will have a prime riverfront location on the Sofiyskaya embankment in the heart of the city, directly facing the Kremlin. The hotel will be well located for business and leisure travellers with access to many of the city’s tourist attractions, historic sites and business districts.
Located along Moscow’s main avenue between the Kremlin and Red Square, the property will become a luxury Corinthia Hotel with an element of high-end retail along the street.
New Radisson Blu is set to open in 2021. It will feature 150 comfortable guest rooms, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, fitness, wellness center, two restaurants, and a lobby bar. The Radisson Blu Leninsky Prospect Hotel, Moscow will be an integral part of a mixed-use office and hotel complex.
