Low-fare carrier Frontier Airlines today announces a major commitment in the New York City area with a new flight attendant base at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The new base is scheduled to open in July 2020 and is expected to grow to more than 100 flight attendants within the first four months. The base will create new aviation jobs in the area, which can be viewed and applied for at: FlyFrontier.com/Careers.
The base will contribute to the area’s economic growth and allow for additional flexibility in the company’s operations from the NYC metropolitan area.
“Frontier has quickly become New York City’s airline of choice for low fares and friendly service and we’re excited to continue our remarkable growth with a new flight attendant base at EWR,” said Barry Biffle, President and CEO of Frontier Airlines. “We are at the forefront of technology, environmental sustainability and company culture in the airline industry and, in short, it’s a great time to be on Team Frontier. We look forward to welcoming many new professionals from the NYC community to our team.”
Frontier is focused on more than low fares. The carrier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, customers can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKS. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees, and priority boarding.
The airline’s frequent flier program, FRONTIER Miles, lets members enjoy many benefits as well as the opportunity to easily attain Elite status. Like the airline, FRONTIER Miles is family friendly, and the program makes it easy for families to enjoy the rewards together, including family pooling of miles. FRONTIER Miles is aptly named because you earn one mile for every mile flown – no funny formulas at Frontier. If a customer travels a little or a lot, they will find FRONTIER Miles rewarding.
