Air France and Hertz have signed a new partnership aimed at offering Air France customers an exceptional service, called Hertz DriveU (https://airfrance.hertzdriveu.com), a private chauffeur service.
A tailor-made service, easy to use and accessible to all Air France customers and Flying Blue members can now enjoy the Hertz DriveU service: a transfer service with a private driver from their departure point to the airport and from their arrival airport to their final destination. The transfer is made by sedan (Standard, Premium, Luxury) or by van to and from more than 300 airports in over 70 countries.
This new service is, for example, offered at a fixed rate of €62 including tax for a trip between Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and Paris in a Standard sedan, and will earn customers 148 Flying Blue Miles.
No more waiting in line for a taxi or the stress of a chauffeur who’s already left. At the airport, customers are welcomed up to 90 minutes – depending on the vehicle’s category – after flight arrival by a dedicated chauffeur, equipped with a tablet in the traveller’s name.
This service can be booked up to 3 hours before the transfer at airfrance.hertzdriveu.com and is available for all Air France customers and Flying Blue members.
In addition, for every euro spent excluding tax, customers who are members of the Flying Blue loyalty programme earn 3 Miles.
Soline de Montrémy, SVP Global Sales and Commercial Partnerships at Air France, said, “Our aim is to provide our customers with a trip that is as stress-free as possible. I am delighted with the implementation of this new private driver service provided by Hertz DriveU , offering an enhanced door to door customer experience.”
Vincent Gillet, VP International Marketing at Hertz International, added: “Hertz, which pioneered ‘Fly/Drive’ in 1932, and Air France have been offering passengers a seamless union of top air and ground transportation for more than 30 years. Hertz DriveU is yet another innovative addition to the unique selection of Hertz products and services that Air France passengers can easily access from the airline’s website before, during or after the reservation of their flight.”
All Air France La Première guests enjoy exclusive attention from the company’s staff and tailor-made services. On departure or arrival at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the Hertz DriveU service is included at no extra cost in the offer dedicated to customers travelling in the company’s most exclusive cabin. This service will soon be extended to other La Première destinations.
All La première customers enjoy a personalized welcome throughout their journey: a Hertz DriveU transfer service with private, welcomed by a porter at the airport as soon as they get out of their car, accompanied to the La Première lounge to relax, or enjoy a bite to eat with a culinary creation by Alain Ducasse at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, then a stress-free boarding at the passenger’s convenience, before their tailor-made flight in their La Première suite.
The service can be booked by calling the telephone number dedicated to La Première customers up to 24 hours before the transfer.
