SFO and Uber to Offer Premium Curbside Pickup

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) today announced the launch of a pilot program with Uber to offer a premium curbside pickup option for travelers. Effective November 20, 2019, for a period of two months, customers who choose a premium Uber product will be picked up curbside at designated locations in each Domestic Terminal.

“Our goal is to make SFO easier for travelers to access, and this new pilot program offers a premium curbside pickup experience during the holiday travel season,” said Airport Director Ivar C. Satero. “We hope this option makes traveling through SFO more enjoyable for our guests.”

Curbside pickup will be available on the following Uber products:

  • Uber Comfort
  • Uber Select
  • Uber XL

Pickup locations at the Domestic Terminals are as follows:

  • Terminal 1: Door 9
  • Terminal 2: Doors 5 and 6
  • Terminal 3: Doors 12 and 13

Uber Black and Uber Black SUV products have always picked up curbside, and will continue to do so. Pickups at the International Terminal will continue in the current location, at the center island of the Departure level roadway. Lyft will not be participating in this pilot program.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) offers non-stop flights to more than 51 international cities on 43 international carriers. The Bay Area’s largest airport connects non-stop with 86 cities in the U.S. on 12 domestic airlines. SFO is proud to offer upgraded free Wi-Fi with no advertising.
