Northern Capital Gateway LLC (NCG), the operator of Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport (Russia), extends reduced operating hours of the airport until May 12, 2020. St. Petersburg Airport continues to serve flights daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. (local time).
The reduced operating hours do not apply to air navigation services, the operation of communication systems, St. Petersburg Airport lighting equipment and the emergency rescue units of the airport. St. Petersburg airport continues to operate 24/7 as a diversion airport. Pulkovo is also ready to serve 24/7 delayed flights, cargo and humanitarian flights, state and business aviation flights.
Airlines have massively reduced the number of flights in their programs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. By operating with reduced hours, NCG can optimize the airport’s resources.
The entrance to the passenger terminal is open from 5.30 a.m., check-in starts at 6 a.m. In the evening, the entrance to the terminal closes at 11.30 p.m.
