Eurowings to Launch Flights from BER to Yerevan

Eurowings is expanding its range of flights from BER and flying to two new destinations. There is a flight to the Armenian capital Yerevan once a week, every Friday. Starting on 13 July, the route will be offered twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Yerevan is one of the oldest cities in the world. The cosmopolitan metropolis, which has over one million inhabitants and is nicknamed the “Pink City” because of the colour of its buildings, is located at an altitude of around 1,000 metres in the Lesser Caucasus. With its ancient monasteries, historical sites and magnificent landscapes, the country of Armenia looks back on 3,000 years of cultural history between Europe and Asia.

Eurowings will be flying to a total of 40 destinations from BER between April and the end of October. Destinations include both strong offerings to the Nordic countries (Helsinki, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Stockholm) as well as destinations in the Mediterranean (Palma de Mallorca, Dubrovnik, Bastia, Beirut). Eurowings will also be flying to North Africa and Turkey in July and August. Tunis in Tunisia will be served from 15 July (Mondays), Adana in Turkey from 16 July (Tuesdays) and Casablanca in Morocco from 21 July (Sundays).
