Dublin Ranks Highest in Traffic Congestion Across Europe

Dublin has been identified as the city with the worst traffic congestion in Europe, securing the second spot globally, with only London ranking higher. The rankings were compiled by TomTom, a company specializing in navigation software, covering 387 cities across 55 countries on five continents.

In Dublin, it takes 29 minutes and 30 seconds to travel 10 kilometers, which is one minute longer than the previous year. TomTom experts also pinpointed the worst day for Dublin drivers in 2023, which was October 19th. On that day, a 210-kilometer journey required 36 minutes and 10 seconds.

Tarnanto (Italy) emerged as the least congested city in the European Union, where one can cover ten kilometers in 10 minutes and 20 seconds.
