Emirates to Launch A380 Flights to Delhi in October

Emirates will deploy its flagship Airbus A380 on the Dubai–Delhi route from 25 October, making the Indian capital the airline’s third destination in India to be served by the iconic double-decker aircraft.

The A380 will operate as flights EK512 and EK513 in a four-class configuration, joining Mumbai and Bengaluru as Emirates’ A380 destinations in India.

Premium Economy on Every Delhi Flight

The introduction of the A380 means Premium Economy will be available on all four daily Emirates services between Dubai and Delhi.

Alongside the A380-operated EK512/513, the airline’s three other daily Delhi flights are already operated by refurbished four-class Boeing 777 aircraft featuring Premium Economy.

The cabin offers wider cream leather seats with additional legroom and recline, upgraded dining served on china tableware, and a range of enhanced onboard amenities.

Premium Economy Expands Across India

By the end of October, Emirates will offer Premium Economy on flights serving six Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Kochi.

From 25 October, the airline’s daily Kolkata–Dubai service (EK570/571) will also be upgraded to the Airbus A350, introducing Premium Economy on the route. Together with five weekly Boeing 777 flights, Premium Economy will be available on all 12 weekly Emirates services between Kolkata and Dubai.

Investment in the Indian Market

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said the expansion reflects the airline’s long-term commitment to India.

“We are pleased to introduce our highly anticipated A380 services to Delhi, a vital gateway in our network. Given the strong demand for travel to and from India, it is an honour to expand our A380 footprint in the country,” he said.

Kazim added that Emirates is continuing to invest in customer experience by expanding Premium Economy across India and introducing additional service enhancements.

Enhanced Services On the Ground and in the Air

Emirates recently opened new retail travel stores in Delhi and Mumbai, with additional outlets planned for Hyderabad and Bengaluru, alongside a dedicated customer call centre in Mumbai.

Onboard, passengers travelling to and from India can enjoy regionally inspired menus, multilingual cabin crew and access to more than 6,500 entertainment channels, including Bollywood films and content in several Indian languages.

Emirates currently serves nine destinations across India with 167 weekly flights connecting the country to Dubai and nearly 140 destinations worldwide.
