IHG Launches UK Rewards Debit Cards With Revolut and Visa

IHG Hotels & Resorts has launched its first co-branded debit cards in the United Kingdom through a new partnership with Revolut and Visa, giving IHG One Rewards members new ways to earn hotel points and elite status through everyday spending.

Available from 30 June 2026, the new cards are designed to reward both hotel stays and daily purchases, allowing members to accumulate points more quickly while progressing through the IHG One Rewards loyalty programme.

Two Card Options Available

The new IHG x Revolut debit cards are offered in two versions: the no-fee IHG x Revolut Essential card and the subscription-based IHG x Revolut Elite card.

The Essential card provides automatic IHG One Rewards Silver Elite status, earns one point per £1 spent at IHG hotels worldwide and 0.5 points per £1 on eligible everyday purchases. Cardholders also receive five Elite Night Credits and can earn additional bonus points and Elite Night Credits through qualifying spending.

The Elite card, available for a monthly fee of £18, offers automatic Platinum Elite status, earning rates of up to six points per £1 spent at IHG hotels, up to three points per £1 on international purchases and up to 1.5 points per £1 on eligible spending within the UK and Europe. Members also receive 15 Elite Night Credits, with the opportunity to achieve Diamond Elite status after spending £35,000 annually.

Limited-Time Launch Bonuses

Customers applying before 25 August 2026 will receive enhanced welcome offers. Essential cardholders can earn up to 10,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points by meeting introductory spending requirements.

Elite cardholders will receive 20,000 welcome points, with an additional 10,000 bonus points after qualifying spending during the first three months. For a limited period, eligible hotel stays in selected markets can earn up to nine points per £1 spent.

Additional Revolut Benefits

In addition to earning IHG One Rewards points, cardholders will continue to benefit from Revolut’s financial services, including fee-free overseas spending, competitive international transfer rates and the ability to spend in more than 150 currencies. Customers may also upgrade to higher Revolut subscription plans for additional banking and travel benefits.

Strengthening Travel Rewards

Paul Proctor, Senior Vice President of Global Loyalty & Partnerships at IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the partnership creates new opportunities for members to earn rewards through both travel and everyday purchases while accelerating their progress toward elite status and additional loyalty benefits.

Tara Massoudi, General Manager of Premium at Revolut, said the collaboration enables customers to convert routine spending into hotel rewards, premium travel experiences and loyalty benefits.

Rob Cameron, Group Country Manager for the UK and Ireland at Visa, added that the partnership reflects growing consumer demand for payment products that combine everyday spending with meaningful travel rewards and greater overall value.

IHG Hotels & Resorts operates more than 7,000 hotels across 21 brands in over 100 countries, making the new debit cards one of the company’s most significant loyalty initiatives in the UK market.
