Dubai’s Famous Barasti Beach Club To Close For Major Transformation

One of Dubai’s most iconic nightlife destinations is preparing for its biggest transformation yet as Barasti Beach Club announces plans to temporarily close for major redevelopment.

The beachfront venue, which has been part of Dubai’s social scene since 1995, will shut its doors later this month before reopening next year as a completely redesigned destination.

End Of An Era For One Of Dubai’s Most Famous Venues

Located at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, Barasti has spent nearly three decades establishing itself as one of Dubai’s best-known beach clubs.

The venue became famous for combining beachfront dining, nightlife, live sports screenings and major music events in one location.

Over the years, Barasti hosted performances from international DJs including Steve Aoki and Alan Walker while also becoming a major gathering point for football fans during World Cup tournaments.

Biggest Redevelopment In Barasti’s History

The upcoming redevelopment represents the largest transformation since the venue first opened.

Plans include multiple zones designed for different audiences, redesigned interiors and expanded food and beverage offerings.

The new concept is also being designed to appeal not only to tourists but increasingly to residents living around Dubai Marina and Dubai Harbour.

According to management, the relaxed atmosphere that helped build Barasti’s reputation will remain central to the new concept.

Final Farewell Party Before Closure

Before construction begins, the venue will host one final celebration.

The farewell event, called Barasti: Last Orders, is scheduled for June 21 starting at 10am.

Organisers say the all-day event will give regular visitors one final opportunity to experience the venue before it closes for its next chapter.

Ugur Lee Kanbur, multi-property general manager of Destination Mina Seyahi, described Barasti as more than simply a venue, calling it part of Dubai’s story after creating memories for residents and visitors for nearly 30 years.
