Six Flags Entertainment is significantly expanding its membership strategy by rolling out its subscription-style program across six additional amusement and water parks, introducing regional multi-park access and monthly payment options designed to encourage more frequent year-round visits.
The expansion, launching June 8, represents another major step in the company’s shift toward recurring revenue models and more flexible access products across its growing park portfolio.
Executives say the new approach reflects changing consumer behavior as visitors increasingly prioritize flexibility, value and year-round entertainment experiences.
Six Additional Parks Join Expanded Membership Program
For the first time, the membership model will become available across six additional destinations spanning the United States.
The new rollout includes Carowinds & Carolina Harbor in North Carolina, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Pennsylvania, Kings Dominion & Soak City in Virginia, Kings Island & Soak City in Ohio, Knott’s Berry Farm & Knott’s Soak City in California, and Schlitterbahn New Braunfels in Texas.
The program introduces regional access benefits that allow members to visit multiple parks using a single membership rather than purchasing separate passes.
Six Flags divided membership access into four geographic regions: West, Texas, Midwest and East.
New Membership Model Focuses On Monthly Payments And Flexibility
The company says the redesigned membership model aims to attract visitors seeking lower upfront costs and greater flexibility.
Unlike traditional season passes, memberships allow guests to pay monthly while maintaining continuous access without annual renewals.
Gold memberships include access across regional parks, while Prestige memberships provide access across the broader Six Flags network.
Additional benefits include free parking at selected parks, food and merchandise discounts, seasonal promotions, loyalty rewards and optional premium upgrades such as preferred parking and skip-the-line access.
New Attractions Support Year-Round Visitation Strategy
The membership expansion arrives alongside major investments designed to encourage more repeat visits.
Among recent additions, Kings Dominion introduced the record-breaking launched wing coaster Rapterra, while Kings Island expanded with Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare and previously added Ohio’s first dual-racing water coaster.
At Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, visitors can now experience Wasserbahn Racers, a new three-lane mat racing water slide, while Knott’s Berry Farm prepares to debut MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress in 2026.
By combining new attractions with subscription-style access, Six Flags is increasingly positioning its parks as year-round entertainment destinations rather than purely seasonal attractions.
