IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding its presence in Vietnam after signing a new two-hotel agreement that will add both luxury resort accommodation and business-focused hospitality developments to its growing portfolio.
The agreement includes plans for a new beachfront luxury resort in Ho Tram and a business-oriented hotel development in Binh Duong, strengthening IHG’s position across both premium leisure and corporate travel segments.
The projects are being developed through a long-term partnership with Vietnamese real estate developer Meraki Land and represent another significant expansion for IHG in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing tourism markets.
Luxury Regent Resort Planned For Ho Tram
The new Regent Ho Tram is scheduled to open in 2032 and will introduce a luxury beachfront resort designed to target high-end domestic and international travelers.
The development will include 220 accommodation units featuring suites, private pool villas and premium sky villas alongside restaurants, wellness facilities and branded residences.
Located within reach of Ho Chi Minh City, the resort is expected to benefit from improving transport infrastructure and growing demand for luxury coastal tourism.
The project also strengthens Ho Tram’s position as an emerging upscale tourism destination.
New Crowne Plaza Targets Growing Business Demand
Scheduled to open in 2029, Crowne Plaza Saigon Binh Duong will focus primarily on business and corporate travel demand.
The 221-room hotel will be located within a mixed-use development featuring residential, commercial and retail components.
Binh Duong remains one of Vietnam’s largest industrial regions, hosting numerous multinational companies and continuing to attract investment across manufacturing and technology sectors.
The hotel is expected to benefit from strong domestic and international business demand as industrial activity continues expanding.
Vietnam Remains Key Growth Market For International Hotel Brands
The new agreement increases collaboration between IHG and Meraki Land while supporting wider expansion plans across Vietnam.
IHG currently operates dozens of hotels across the country while maintaining an extensive pipeline of additional projects.
Hotel groups continue increasing investment across Vietnam as tourism demand grows and secondary destinations attract greater international attention.
The latest projects highlight continued confidence in Vietnam’s long-term tourism and business travel growth as international hospitality brands compete for market share across rapidly expanding destinations.
