Jet2 has expanded its biggest-ever summer programme from Leeds Bradford Airport by launching two brand-new Greek destinations for Summer 2027, giving holidaymakers across Yorkshire even more choice as demand for early bookings continues to rise.
The airline and tour operator confirmed that customers will be able to fly directly to Santorini and Preveza from Leeds Bradford Airport for the first time, with both routes operating exclusively through Jet2 from the airport.
The announcement adds further growth to Jet2’s already expanded Summer 2027 schedule, which now includes almost two million seats and 53 routes from Leeds Bradford Airport.
Jet2 Adds Exclusive Santorini And Preveza Flights
The new services will provide customers with direct access to two popular Greek destinations that have not previously been available through Jet2 from Leeds Bradford Airport.
Flights to Preveza will operate weekly on Sundays between May 23 and October 10, 2027, while Santorini flights will operate weekly on Thursdays between May 6 and October 7, 2027.
The addition of Santorini gives travelers direct access to one of Greece’s most recognizable islands, famous for its whitewashed villages, dramatic volcanic cliffs and world-renowned sunsets.
Visitors can explore archaeological attractions, local vineyards and iconic locations including Oia and the ancient settlement of Akrotiri.
Preveza Opens Access To Greece’s Epirus Region
Jet2 said the launch of flights to Preveza provides customers with easier access to the Epirus region and some of western Greece’s best-known coastal destinations.
The region offers more than 60 kilometers of coastline alongside traditional seaside resorts and islands connected to mainland Greece.
Popular destinations accessible through Preveza include Parga, Lefkas and smaller resort towns including Nidri, Nikiana, Lygia and Agios Nikitas.
The expansion also strengthens Jet2’s growing presence in Greece, which remains one of the most popular summer holiday markets for UK travelers.
Summer 2027 Programme Becomes Largest Ever From Leeds Bradford
Jet2 says its Summer 2027 programme from Leeds Bradford Airport is now the largest in its history, with four brand-new routes launching overall.
Alongside Santorini and Preveza, the company will also begin operating services to Egyptian destinations Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh for the first time from the airport.
The airline also confirmed it expects normal operations throughout upcoming seasons following positive updates from fuel suppliers regarding production increases and additional imports.
Jet2 reiterated that customers will not face fuel surcharges on booked flights or package holidays, maintaining its policy that passengers pay the price originally booked.
Jet2 Says Demand For Early Summer 2027 Bookings Continues Growing
Jet2 Chief Executive Steve Heapy said continued demand for early holiday bookings influenced the decision to expand the programme further.
According to the company, customers are increasingly booking further ahead, particularly for summer departures to Mediterranean destinations.
Leeds Bradford Airport officials said the expansion offers Yorkshire travelers more flexibility and broader destination choices as competition for summer travel continues increasing.
