Cunard Unveils 2028 Cruises Featuring Historic Four Queens Celebration

Cunard has unveiled its 2028 cruise programme featuring 190 voyages across 36 countries, highlighted by a historic Four Queens Celebration that will bring all four Cunard ships together in Liverpool for the first time.

The luxury cruise line’s new collection covers sailings between April 2028 and January 2029, visiting 125 ports worldwide including 98 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Historic Four Queens Celebration Planned In Liverpool

A major highlight of the programme will take place in May 2028 when Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Anne unite in Liverpool.

The event marks the first time all four Cunard Queens will gather together, creating what the company describes as a landmark moment in the brand’s history.

Cunard will also introduce new “Queen-to-Queen” voyages, allowing guests to combine sailings across multiple ships within one extended itinerary.

One of the flagship itineraries will be a 40-night voyage from Southampton to Civitavecchia near Rome between 16 April and 26 May 2028, incorporating the Liverpool celebration alongside Scandinavian and European destinations.

Queen Mary 2 Continues Signature Transatlantic Sailings

Queen Mary 2 will continue operating Cunard’s iconic Transatlantic Crossings while also offering itineraries across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Canada and the Caribbean.

The vessel will additionally perform its first-ever eastbound crossing from New York to Liverpool for the Four Queens Celebration.

Highlights include an overnight stay in Boston during Independence Day celebrations and Northern Lights voyages featuring overnight stays in Tromsø.

Queen Victoria Expands Mediterranean And Arctic Itineraries

Queen Victoria’s programme focuses heavily on European voyages departing from Southampton.

The ship will feature overnight stays in Stockholm, Reykjavík, Oslo and Copenhagen, alongside Arctic Circle departures designed to maximise Northern Lights viewing opportunities.

The vessel will also return to Mediterranean destinations including Albania, Cyprus, Turkey and Tunisia for the first time in more than a decade.

Queen Elizabeth Focuses On Mediterranean Cruises

Queen Elizabeth will spend summer 2028 sailing throughout the Mediterranean.

Destinations include Croatia, Montenegro and Greece, alongside a maiden call to Bari in southern Italy.

The ship will also offer overnight stays in Istanbul, giving guests additional time to explore the Turkish city after dark.

Queen Anne Expands Northern Europe Sailings

Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, will focus on Scandinavia and Northern Europe before joining the Four Queens event in Liverpool.

The vessel will alternate between Norwegian fjord voyages and southern European itineraries to France, Spain and Portugal.

Queen Anne will additionally make a maiden call to Le Verdon near Bordeaux.

More Overnight Stays And UNESCO Destinations Included

The broader 2028 programme includes 19 overnight port stays and 37 late-evening departures aimed at providing guests with more immersive destination experiences.

Cunard said the collection was designed to offer longer time ashore and broader access to culturally significant destinations.

Cunard Introduces New Travel Packages

The cruise line has also launched new Signature Package and Premium Signature Package options that bundle Wi-Fi, drinks and specialty dining credit into a single upgrade.

Cunard says the packages can offer savings of up to 30% compared with onboard pricing.

Bookings for Cunard World Club members open from 18 May 2026, with general sales beginning on 20 May 2026. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
