Senior HR executives, CEOs and workforce transformation leaders from across Africa and beyond are preparing to gather in Tanzania next year for the World HR Summit & Expo 2026 – Africa, one of the continent’s largest business leadership and human capital events.
The summit will take place on June 11 and 12, 2026, at the Superdome in Masaki, Dar es Salaam, bringing together decision-makers from sectors including banking, insurance, mining, construction, transport, telecommunications, government, energy, manufacturing, technology and FMCG.
Organisers say delegates from more than 16 countries have already confirmed participation as companies increasingly focus on workforce transformation, AI integration and leadership development.
AI, Leadership And Workforce Transformation To Lead Discussions
The conference agenda will focus heavily on how organisations across Africa are adapting to rapid technological and economic change.
Key themes expected to dominate discussions include artificial intelligence and workforce transformation, executive leadership in periods of disruption, talent retention strategies, future workforce skills and organisational productivity.
The summit will also examine how HR leaders are gaining greater influence within executive leadership teams and corporate boardrooms.
Organisers describe the event as a high-level executive gathering rather than a traditional industry conference, with a strong emphasis on strategic networking and business partnerships.
More Than 600 Delegates Expected In Dar es Salaam
According to organisers, the event is expected to attract more than 600 delegates, including senior executives, HR directors and chief human resources officers.
More than 80 speakers and panelists from Africa and international markets are expected to participate, although headline keynote speakers are still being finalised.
Organisers said several internationally recognised business leaders and transformation experts will be announced in the coming weeks.
The summit will also include executive networking sessions, business matchmaking opportunities and access to the Africa Company of the Year Awards Gala Dinner.
Exclusive Yacht Networking Experience Planned For Executives
One of the event’s standout features will be a private executive yacht networking experience scheduled for June 13 in Dar es Salaam.
The invitation-only gathering will bring together selected HR directors, CHROs and senior executives in a smaller setting designed to encourage strategic conversations and relationship building outside the formal conference environment.
Organisers say the initiative reflects growing demand for exclusive executive networking formats within Africa’s business events sector.
Organisers Warn Tickets Are Selling Quickly
Event organisers say only 200 tickets remain available as registrations continue to increase ahead of the summit.
The international delegate pass is priced at 500 US dollars, while Tanzania-based delegates can attend for one million Tanzanian shillings.
Organisers have indicated that registration will close once venue capacity is reached.
