HBX Group has agreed to acquire 100% of Bridgify, an AI-focused travel technology company specialising in experiences distribution, as the global travel marketplace continues expanding its technology and experiences strategy.
The acquisition supports HBX Group’s wider plans to strengthen its Experiences division while accelerating the use of artificial intelligence across its travel ecosystem.
AI Platform Connects More Than One Million Experiences
Bridgify operates an AI-native experiences infrastructure platform that provides access to more than one million curated travel experiences sourced from global suppliers.
The company uses proprietary recommendation algorithms designed to match travellers with personalised activities and experiences based on their preferences.
The acquisition significantly expands the depth of experiences available through HBX Group’s distribution network.
Focus On Faster Integration And Personalisation
Bridgify’s technology allows travel companies to integrate experiences directly into their platforms through API connectivity and white-label marketplace solutions.
The platform is designed to help partners launch branded experiences marketplaces more quickly while delivering more tailored offerings to travellers.
HBX Group said the deal also creates broader opportunities to apply AI, automation and personalisation technologies across its operations.
HBX Group Targets Simpler Travel Distribution
HBX Group chief executive Nicolas Huss said the acquisition reflects the company’s focus on simplifying the travel industry through technology and data.
He said Bridgify’s technology would strengthen the connection between experiences suppliers and distribution partners while reducing integration complexity across the group.
The company also sees potential to scale AI-driven content delivery and product distribution across its global travel ecosystem.
Founders To Remain Involved Following Acquisition
Bridgify chief executive Amit Shamni described the transaction as an important milestone for the company.
He said the partnership with HBX Group would allow Bridgify to expand its capabilities across a wider international network while continuing to develop more flexible and innovative travel solutions.
The transaction includes €3 million in upfront consideration, with the majority of the total value linked to future performance targets.
HBX Group said Bridgify’s founders will remain actively involved in the business to support continuity and long-term growth following the acquisition.
