Radisson Hotel Group is strengthening its presence in Central Asia with the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Almaty Airport, a new property strategically located just 2.6 kilometers from Almaty International Airport.

Positioned as the closest internationally branded hotel to the airport, the new development is designed to cater to transit passengers, airline crews and business travelers. The city center can be reached in approximately 25 minutes, offering convenient access for both short stays and longer visits.

The hotel features 171 rooms and suites, including junior suites, a presidential suite and accessible rooms tailored for guests with reduced mobility. Interiors follow a Scandinavian design approach, emphasizing clean lines, natural materials and functional layouts.

Dining and social spaces are a key part of the offering. Guests can choose from the all-day Mezzanine restaurant, a lobby lounge and bar, or the rooftop F7 Skybar & Lounge, which includes a terrace with panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.

Wellness and leisure facilities include a 490-square-meter spa complex with a swimming pool and fitness center, alongside a beauty salon and a children’s playroom. For business travelers, the hotel provides conference facilities spanning 285 square meters, while airline crew members benefit from a dedicated lounge area.

The opening marks the third property for Radisson Hotel Group in Almaty, underscoring the company’s expansion strategy in Kazakhstan and the wider Central Asian region.

The timing aligns with strong growth at Almaty’s airport, which handled approximately 12.5 million passengers in 2025. As traffic continues to increase, the new hotel is expected to play a key role in supporting the city’s aviation and hospitality infrastructure.
