Miami developer Yntegra Group has revealed a striking new vision for ultra-luxury travel with the unveiling of a mobile floating helipad, a floating padel court and a bespoke superyacht tender for the future Rosewood Exuma, scheduled to open in late 2028.
Positioned in the crystalline waters of East Sampson Cay in the Exuma archipelago, the project introduces what is being described as the world’s first Floating Helipad designed specifically for a private-island resort. Measuring 52 ft by 42 ft, the 2,184-sq-ft structure is anchored on a recycled dock engineered to meet Federal Aviation Administration compliance standards, accommodating helicopters of up to 190,000 lbs.
Conceived as both infrastructure and experience, the helipad is built to withstand severe weather conditions and supports safe night-time landings through integrated solar lighting. Located roughly an hour from South Florida by air, it transforms the act of arrival into a defining moment, framing the descent against Exuma’s turquoise horizon and setting a new reference point for private-island accessibility.
The floating helipad is part of a broader suite of innovations designed to elevate and personalise every stage of the guest journey. Among them is a tranquil Floating Padel Court, constructed from recycled steel and powered by wind and solar energy to minimise environmental impact. Guests will also arrive via a 13-metre superyacht-style Limousine Tender crafted by British specialist Cockwells, reinforcing a seamless transition from mainland to island.
Spanning 124 acres, Rosewood Exuma is being developed with a strong sustainability mandate. More than half of the island will be preserved as a natural sanctuary, while just 33 bungalows will be discreetly positioned within native landscaping. The resort is targeting LEED certification, with approximately 30 percent of its energy needs met through solar and renewable sources.
For Yntegra, the project represents a deliberate attempt to reconcile extreme luxury with environmental stewardship and remoteness. “We are unwavering in our pursuit to craft experiences that are as visionary as they are memorable,” said Felipe MacLean, CEO of Yntegra Group. “Our Floating Helipad ensures that the arrival experience is as unforgettable as the destination itself. It invites guests to immerse in a horizon-to-horizon escape of unrivalled adventure and pristine natural beauty of East Sampson Cay.”
By introducing aviation-first infrastructure, floating sports facilities and superyacht-grade transport to a remote Bahamian cay, Yntegra is signalling a new frontier in luxury hospitality. At Rosewood Exuma, arrival is no longer a logistical necessity but a curated experience in its own right—one that blends innovation, sustainability and spectacle to redefine how the world’s most exclusive destinations are reached.
