Turkish Airlines Flights Between Moscow and Antalya Delayed by Up to 16 Hours

Hundreds of passengers have been left waiting at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport after multiple Turkish Airlines flights to Antalya were delayed for hours, with some departures postponed by up to 16 hours, according to Russian media outlet MSK1.RU.

As shown on Vnukovo Airport’s online departure board, six flights bound for Antalya were delayed. Several aircraft that were scheduled to depart during the night or early morning were pushed to late evening departures, while one flight originally set for 15:50 was rescheduled to 22:40.

Almost all return flights from Antalya to Moscow have also arrived significantly behind schedule.

“Vnukovo shows arrival at 14:45, while Antalya’s board lists it as canceled,” passengers reported in Turkish travel chats. However, there have been no official statements from Antalya Airport or Turkish Airlines regarding the disruptions.

According to Moscow 24, passengers on the affected Antalya–Moscow flight were accommodated in hotels overnight and told to return to the airport in the morning.

The cause of the widespread delays remains unclear, though both Moscow and Antalya airports have experienced operational disruptions in recent days, with passengers reporting confusion and a lack of updates.
