Aeroflot is bringing back two of its most popular seasonal routes ahead of the winter travel season, reconnecting Moscow with the Seychelles and Sri Lanka. Ticket sales are now open, with flights to Mahé starting on September 27 and to Colombo on October 4.
According to the airline’s schedule, Aeroflot will operate:
Moscow – Mahé: two weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Moscow – Colombo: three weekly flights, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The Seychelles route will be served by Airbus A350 aircraft in a three-class configuration (Economy, Comfort, and Business), while the Sri Lanka flights will use Boeing 777 widebodies, also offering three service classes.
The move expands Aeroflot’s winter holiday program, which already includes regular flights to Goa from Moscow and Yekaterinburg, plus a new service from Novosibirsk to the Indian resort.
For Russian travelers, the return of these routes opens up more options for long-haul winter escapes to sun-soaked beaches and warm seas.
