Cathay Pacific is set to strengthen its U.S. operations with the launch of a new route connecting Hong Kong to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The service is scheduled to begin on April 24th, 2025, and will be operated by the Airbus A350-1000. The aircraft, configured for 334 passengers, features three seating classes: 46 Business Class seats, 32 Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy Class seats.
This new route will make DFW Cathay Pacific’s sixth passenger destination in the United States and its eighth in North America, including Canada. Cathay Pacific already operates flights to the U.S. from its Hong Kong base using both Airbus A350s and Boeing 777s.
Initially, Cathay Pacific will offer four weekly flights to Dallas, providing a total of 1,336 seats per leg each week. Dallas Fort Worth will also become the airport’s sixth destination in Asia, following existing services to Doha, Dubai, Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo (Haneda and Narita).
