Moldova is closing the airspace and all planes will be diverted to other airports.

“Given the situation in the region, the High Security Council has recommended closing the airspace in Moldova. The civil aviation authority will implement the recommendation and close the airspace from 12:00. All flights will be diverted to other airports,” he said.

AirMoldova clarified that the airspace will be closed until March 4.

Earlier, the High Security Council of Moldova plans to appeal to the parliament to impose a state of emergency in the country due to the situation in Ukraine.
