Boutique lifestyle aparthotel brand Wilde will continue its European expansion with the opening of Wilde Amsterdam Noord on 30 September 2026. Following new properties in Vienna and Lisbon earlier this year, the hotel marks Wilde’s debut in the Netherlands and introduces the brand’s first property designed exclusively for extended stays.
Located in Amsterdam Noord overlooking the IJ River, the new aparthotel will welcome guests staying seven nights or longer, catering to business travellers, digital nomads and leisure visitors seeking a longer city experience.
120 Design-Led Apartments in Amsterdam Noord
Situated within the new Yvie residential development, Wilde Amsterdam Noord features 120 fully equipped studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments spread across eight floors. The property combines apartment-style accommodation with boutique hotel services, offering guests greater flexibility for extended visits.
The hotel is just five minutes by ferry from Amsterdam Centraal Station or approximately 15 minutes by public transport, while Amsterdam Schiphol Airport can be reached in around 35 minutes.
Exploring Amsterdam’s Creative District
Once an industrial area, Amsterdam Noord has transformed into one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, known for its creative community, independent cafés, cultural venues and green spaces.
Guests will be encouraged to explore the district by bicycle, with easy access to local restaurants, waterfront walks, parks and traditional Dutch windmills.
Interiors Inspired by Local Art
The interiors, designed by Stephanie Barba Mendoza, draw inspiration from Amsterdam Noord’s artistic character. Leather, timber, marble lacquer and brass finishes create warm contemporary spaces complemented by waterfront views.
The lobby showcases a large hand-painted mural and bespoke lampshades created by Dutch artist Lisette van Hoogenhuyze, reinforcing the property’s connection to the local creative scene.
Oscar’s Restaurant and Bar
At the centre of the hotel is Oscar’s, an all-day dining venue serving breakfast, coffee, tapas, cocktails, local wines and Dutch craft beers.
The menu combines international favourites with modern interpretations of classic Amsterdam dishes, while the outdoor terrace provides a relaxed setting for riverside breakfasts, lunches and evening drinks overlooking the IJ River.
The opening of Wilde Amsterdam Noord further strengthens the brand’s growing European portfolio as it expands into new urban destinations with a focus on design-led accommodation for longer stays.
