Ryanair carried a record 21.2 million passengers in June 2026, marking a 7% increase compared with the 19.9 million passengers transported during the same month last year. The new milestone surpassed the airline’s previous monthly record of 21.0 million passengers, which was set in August 2025.
Europe’s largest low-cost carrier operated more than 116,800 flights during June while maintaining a strong 95% load factor, unchanged from June 2025. The stable load factor highlights continued robust demand across Ryanair’s network despite the increase in capacity.
Passenger Growth Continues
The June results further reinforce Ryanair’s position as Europe’s largest airline by passenger numbers. The 7% year-on-year increase reflects the carrier’s ongoing network expansion and sustained demand for low-cost travel during the busy summer season.
The airline’s operational performance also remained strong, with its 95% load factor indicating that nearly all available seats continued to be filled throughout the month.
Rolling Annual Traffic Exceeds 211 Million
For the rolling 12-month period ending in June 2026, Ryanair carried 211.8 million passengers, representing a 5% increase from 202.6 million passengers during the previous 12-month period.
The airline’s average load factor over the 12 months remained stable at 94%, demonstrating consistent demand across its network as it continues to expand services throughout Europe and neighbouring markets.
The latest figures come as Ryanair enters the peak summer travel season, with passenger volumes expected to remain high across July and August.
