Ryanair Adds 12 New Warsaw Routes in Record Winter 2026 Plan

Ryanair has announced a record winter 2026 schedule for Warsaw, with 46 routes in total, including 12 new ones. The airline also expects passenger traffic to rise to 4 million a year across the capital’s two airports as capacity increases at both Warsaw-Modlin and Warsaw Chopin airports.

The Irish carrier said the expansion strengthens its presence in the Mazovia region and adds more options for travellers using the Polish capital. The announcement comes as Ryanair bases two more aircraft at Modlin, helping support the larger route network.

The airline’s winter plan is its biggest yet for Warsaw and reflects growing demand in the market. Ryanair is increasing operations at both airports rather than concentrating growth at one location, which it says will improve connectivity for passengers travelling to and from the city.

Ryanair did not list the full route network in the source text, but it said the schedule covers destinations across its European network. The new services are expected to give travellers more choice for winter trips, city breaks and family visits.

Warsaw-Modlin has become a key base for the airline’s low-cost operations in the region. With additional aircraft stationed there, Ryanair can add frequencies and launch new routes more easily, while Chopin airport continues to handle demand from the main capital hub.

The move also underlines competition in the Polish aviation market, where airports continue to recover and expand after years of changing demand. Ryanair’s latest plan suggests it sees further room for growth in Warsaw, especially as airport capacity improves.

For passengers, the increase in routes could mean more direct services and potentially greater flexibility on fares and schedules. For the airports, it marks another sign that traffic in and out of Warsaw is likely to keep climbing through the winter season.
