A search operation is continuing in Ibiza after an Irish tourist went missing nearly two weeks ago, prompting growing concern from family members who say they have had no contact with him since mid-May.
Relatives are now appealing directly to tourists, backpackers and solo travellers who may have crossed paths with him while visiting the island.
Last Seen At San Antonio Hostel
Tommy O’Neill, a 34-year-old Irish citizen, was last seen on May 13 at the Amistat Hostel in San Antonio, Ibiza.
According to family members, there has been no contact with him since then.
A missing person report has already been filed as authorities continue searching for information about his whereabouts.
Family Appeals To Travellers For Information
Relatives have launched public appeals asking anyone who may have encountered Tommy while travelling around Ibiza to come forward.
They believe solo travellers, hostel guests and tourists may potentially hold information that could help investigators establish his movements.
Family members say even seemingly minor details could prove important.
Description Released As Search Continues
Tommy is described as approximately six feet tall with dark brown curly hair.
His family says they are particularly concerned because they believe he may currently be vulnerable.
Relatives have warned that he may appear confused or behave unusually if encountered.
Irish Authorities Providing Consular Assistance
Irish officials confirmed they are aware of the case and are providing consular support.
As is standard practice in ongoing cases involving missing citizens abroad, authorities have not released additional details regarding investigations.
Tourist Destinations Can Complicate Searches
Searches involving missing tourists often become particularly challenging in destinations with large visitor numbers and transient populations.
Popular resort areas such as San Antonio attract thousands of short-term visitors, making witness identification and movement tracking more difficult.
Authorities and relatives continue urging anyone who may have seen Tommy since May 13 to contact investigators or his family as search efforts continue.
