South Korea Opens Galaxy Robot Park in Seoul for Visitors

Robot Entertainment Park Opens In Seoul

A new robot-themed entertainment park has opened in Seoul as South Korea continues expanding its investment in artificial intelligence and immersive technology experiences.

The attraction, launched by Galaxy Corporation on May 5, covers approximately 16,500 square metres in the eastern Gangdong district of the South Korean capital.

The venue combines robotics, live entertainment and interactive technology in an effort to make artificial intelligence more accessible and familiar to younger generations.

Visitors Can Watch Robot Concerts And Battles

Inside the park, visitors can watch robots perform choreographed concerts, create portraits and compete in staged fights within a central attraction known as the “Robot Arena.”

The park also offers interactive games and live experiences designed to encourage direct engagement between humans and robots.

Galaxy Corporation chief executive Choi Yong-ho said the project was developed to help children and families become more comfortable with the growing role of robotics in everyday life.

More Than 1,000 Robot Performances Planned

Galaxy Corporation, which also represents K-pop star G-Dragon, plans to host more than 1,000 robot performances annually ahead of the venue’s official grand opening scheduled for August 2026.

Earlier this month, the park held a soft launch event attended by around 100 children, including several with learning difficulties.

The company says the attraction is intended to function as more than a traditional technology exhibition.

Instead, it is being positioned as a cultural and entertainment space where robotics, music and live experiences merge into a new type of visitor attraction.

South Korea Expands AI And Entertainment Ambitions

The project reflects South Korea’s broader push to strengthen its position in artificial intelligence, robotics and digital entertainment industries.

South Korean companies have increasingly invested in combining advanced technology with tourism, gaming and live entertainment as the country looks to expand its influence in global tech culture.

Galaxy Corporation has already confirmed that international expansion projects are under discussion, including potential developments in the United Arab Emirates.

The growing popularity of immersive technology attractions highlights how robotics and AI are becoming increasingly integrated into tourism and entertainment experiences worldwide.
