Emirates has announced a significant adjustment to its global operations, confirming it is operating a limited flight schedule across more than 100 destinations in response to ongoing disruptions affecting the aviation sector.
In a public update shared on its official channels, the airline advised passengers to monitor their flight status and booking options closely, as schedules continue to evolve.
A network under constant review
The airline indicated that its network remains under active review, with updates being rolled out in real time. Travellers are being encouraged to rely on official communication channels to stay informed about changes.
Despite the reduced schedule, Emirates is maintaining connectivity across its core network, using Dubai as a central hub to reroute passengers where necessary.
Flexible policies for affected passengers
To ease disruption, Emirates has introduced more flexible travel conditions. All new bookings now include one complimentary date change within the ticket’s validity period, giving passengers greater control over their plans.
Customers impacted by schedule changes will be automatically rebooked on the next available flights whenever possible. This may include alternative itineraries with connections through Dubai, ensuring continuity of travel even as routes are adjusted.
Rebooking and refund options extended
Passengers holding tickets for travel between February 28 and May 31 are eligible for additional flexibility. Depending on their preference, travellers can either rebook their journey or request a refund.
This policy reflects a broader industry trend, as airlines adapt to an increasingly uncertain operating environment shaped by supply chain pressures, geopolitical factors and fluctuating demand.
