Emirates Adds 4 Weekly Dubai Accra Flights from July 2026

Emirates is expanding its presence in Ghana by adding four extra weekly flights on its Dubai to Accra route from 12 July 2026. The move will strengthen the airline’s schedule between the United Arab Emirates and Ghana’s capital.

The increase lifts services on the route and gives travellers more options for connections via Dubai. Emirates said the change forms part of its wider network growth, as it continues to build capacity on key international routes.

The announcement comes as airlines look to capture demand for long-haul travel across Africa and the Middle East. For passengers in Ghana, the extra flights could mean more flexibility for business, family and onward leisure travel.

Emirates did not provide further operational details in the text provided, but the airline’s decision points to sustained interest in the Accra market. The additional services are set to start in mid-July 2026 and will be available alongside the carrier’s existing schedule.

Dubai remains a major global hub for travellers from West Africa, offering links to destinations across Asia, Europe and the Americas. More flights on the Accra route may also support trade and tourism flows between Ghana and the Gulf.

The expansion adds to Emirates’ broader strategy of strengthening routes where it sees consistent demand. For Ghana, it marks another step in the growth of international air connectivity.
