Jayasom has scheduled the opening of its inaugural flagship property at AMAALA for 2026, marking the brand’s first entry into the Kingdom. Jayasom Wellness Resort, AMAALA will be located within the destination’s Triple Bay development and will form part of the Red Sea region’s growing portfolio of integrated wellbeing offerings.
According to Karen Campbell, Jayasom was founded on the belief that wellness is a lifelong practice rooted in presence, learning and stillness. At AMAALA, the brand aims to provide an environment where guests can restore balance and reconnect with both modern and traditional wellbeing practices, fostering habits designed to continue long after their stay.
Positioned as an integrated wellbeing destination, the resort will combine evidence-based medicine with holistic healing traditions and mindful living practices. Jayasom’s philosophy centres on connection — to self, to nature and to place — a concept that underpins both its programming and physical design.
Core focus areas will include detox and nutrition, mindfulness and emotional wellbeing, women’s health and hormone balance, fitness and movement, immune resilience, integrative sleep recovery, men’s longevity and vitality, as well as stress recovery and mental clarity.
The resort is being developed as both an adults-focused wellness retreat and a family wellness destination. Dedicated zones will cater separately to adults, infants, toddlers, tweens and teenagers, allowing for personalised wellness journeys alongside shared, intergenerational experiences. Set within the natural landscape of Triple Bay, the development is designed to support both individual restoration and collective connection.
Facilities will span more than 7,000 square metres and include specialised spaces for health and diagnostics, physiotherapy, fitness, mindfulness, nutrition, spa therapies and aesthetic medicine. Minimally invasive aesthetic treatments using U.S. FDA-approved technologies will be offered, with the resort divided into two distinct areas separating adult retreat experiences from family-oriented facilities.
Programmes will be led by medically certified specialists, holistic practitioners, therapists and movement experts. Planned retreat formats include couples’ reconnection programmes, women-only retreats, leadership development, equine-assisted experiences, marine-based activities, physical performance training, detox programmes and sound-based healing.
With its launch at AMAALA, Jayasom positions itself at the intersection of medical wellness, holistic care and experiential travel, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a global hub for next-generation wellbeing tourism.
